Existing Clients: New Clients:
Donald runs his own private practice out of the Eunoia Minds Clinic on Mondays, and sees clients also via Telehealth on Wednesdays. Donald works with adults and older adolescents experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout, trauma-related difficulties, alcohol and substance use difficulties, and challenging life transitions. He also works with people who find themselves caught in recurring relationship and attachment patterns, or who feel uncertain about their identity, direction, or sense of self.
His work is grounded in the idea that symptoms and struggles often make more sense when they are understood in the context of a person’s relationships, history, emotional life, and sense of self. In that spirit, therapy is not only about reducing distress, but also about making more room for feelings, needs, wishes, capacities, and ways of being that have had less space to exist or develop in people’s lives. What is pushed aside does not simply disappear; it often returns indirectly in the form of distress, inner tension, recurring patterns in relationships, or a diminished sense of aliveness and direction. This process can help people understand themselves more fully, loosen familiar patterns, respond with greater flexibility, and build a clearer, more robust sense of self.
Donald works in an integrative, relational, and evidence-based way, drawing on psychodynamic, attachment- and trauma-informed, systemic, cognitive-behavioural, and interpersonal approaches depending on the person and the goals of therapy. He may be a good fit for people who want therapy to be more than symptom management: a space to understand familiar patterns, make sense of their inner life, and begin responding differently to themselves, others, and the situations they find themselves in. Donald aims to offer this work in a way that feels warm, reflective, and professionally grounded.
