Meet Domonique

Domonique is the Founder and Principal Psychologist at The Thought Garden.

Domonqiue has always been drawn to the “why” behind behaviour. In her previous work as a teacher, she often found herself thinking, “This child needs more support than school systems are built to offer”. That curiosity eventually led her to work as a Guidance Officer, and then as a psychologist, where she discovered my true passion… assessments.

Over the years, Domonique has worked in schools and private practice, supporting children, teens and adults through diagnostic assessments. She now focuses exclusively on assessments because she believes deeply in the power of clarity. "When you finally understand what’s going on, for yourself or your child, it changes everything." In total, Domonique has 9 years of experience as a psychologist, the last 3 being dedicated entirely to assessments.

Domonique has a particular passion and skill for identifying neurodivergence in girls and women, who often go under the radar because they tend to mask their traits more effectively to fit in with others. The traditional understanding of how neurodivergence presents is also largely based on how it presents in boys, so many signs in females simply don’t fit the mould. With training, experience and observation, Domonique has learned to recognise the more subtle ways neurodivergence can show up that might otherwise be missed.

Domonique's mission is to make psychological assessments accessible, neurodiversity-affirming and growth-focused. With flexible payments, a simple process and a safe space for discovery. Because every client deserves to feel seen, supported and empowered.

At Eunoia Minds we acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which we work, the Turrbal and Jaggera people, whose land was stolen nearly 250 years ago.  We recognise their continuing connection to land, water and culture, and we pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging. We also extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
